By submitting reviews, feedback, testimonials, assignments,
photographs, files, comments, suggestions, or other material,
you confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit that
content and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person's
rights.
ConnectGate may remove or restrict submitted content when

relating to ConnectGate, its customers, instructors, vendors,
partners, certification providers, services, pricing, technology,
examinations, or business operations.
Confidential information must be protected using reasonable
security measures and must only be used for the authorized
purpose.
Confidential information must not be disclosed to third parties
without authorization unless disclosure is required by law.
08
Intellectual Property
Website content, training materials, courseware, presentations,
videos, recordings, books, graphics, logos, certificates,
examination materials, question banks, software, digital assets,
trademarks, and other materials are protected by applicable
intellectual-property laws.
Accessing or purchasing a service does not transfer ownership
of intellectual property to the customer.
Unless expressly authorized, customers receive only a limited,
personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use materials
for the purpose for which access was provided.
09
Prohibited Use of Training and Intellectual Property
Without written authorization from the applicable rights holder,
customers must not:
- Copy or reproduce protected training materials.

10
Training Registration and Confirmation

Registration is not considered final until ConnectGate or the
applicable training partner provides confirmation and any required
payment has been received.
Additional charges may apply for customized training, onsite
delivery, additional participants, extended hours, special
laboratories, travel, vendor materials, or other requirements
identified in an applicable quotation.
11

prerequisites specified for a training program, certification,
examination, or laboratory.
- Required technical knowledge.
- Appropriate computer literacy.
- Compatible hardware and software.
- Reliable internet connectivity for online programs.
- Required identification.
- Required vendor accounts or licenses.
- Required administrative permissions.
Failure to satisfy prerequisites does not automatically create a
right to a refund, transfer, substitution, or rescheduling.
12
Payments, Taxes, and Charges
Customers are responsible for the prices, taxes, processing
charges, transaction fees, vendor fees, customization fees,
travel expenses, and other charges stated in the applicable
quotation, invoice, registration page, or order.
- Payment obligations are not dependent on examination success.

- Discounts may not be combined unless expressly permitted.

13
Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the service
purchased and the applicable written policy.
Cancellation, substitution, transfer, and rescheduling requests
must normally be submitted in writing and include the customer,
service, and relevant registration information.
ConnectGate may apply different policies to public training,
corporate training, customized programs, examinations, vouchers,
digital products, consulting services, and other offerings.
Where a service has already been accessed or delivered, including
training materials, digital content, laboratories, recordings,
credentials, or examination services, refund eligibility may be
restricted according to the applicable service policy.
14

online resources, and other digital products may have access
periods and licensing restrictions.
- Access may be limited by duration, user, device, territory, or license.
- Credentials may not be shared.
- Digital content may not be copied or redistributed.
- Technical controls may be used to protect licensed materials.
- Temporary interruptions do not automatically create refund rights.
15
Certification Examinations and Exam Vouchers
Certification examinations are governed by the applicable
certification provider's requirements and policies.
Exam vouchers may be subject to expiration dates, transfer
restrictions, refund limitations, identification requirements,
scheduling requirements, and vendor-specific rules.
Purchasing training or an examination voucher does not guarantee
certification. Certification decisions remain with the applicable
certification provider and depend on the candidate's examination
performance and compliance with vendor requirements.
16
Changes or Cancellation by ConnectGate
ConnectGate or an applicable service provider may postpone,
reschedule, relocate, modify, combine, or cancel a service when
reasonably necessary due to instructor availability, technical
issues, vendor requirements, insufficient enrollment, operational
circumstances, or events outside reasonable control.
Where a paid service is cancelled and no reasonable replacement
is provided, any available refund or credit will be handled
according to the applicable service policy and applicable law.
17
Cybersecurity Training and Ethical Use
Cybersecurity training, demonstrations, laboratories, tools,
scripts, techniques, and educational materials are provided for
lawful educational, defensive, research, compliance, auditing,
vulnerability-assessment, and authorized security-testing
purposes.
Participants must only test systems they own or systems for which
they have explicit authorization from the lawful owner.
Training does not authorize any participant to scan, access,
monitor, exploit, attack, disrupt, modify, or interfere with
third-party systems.

through ConnectGate services to:
- Gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.

Training and consulting services may demonstrate third-party
software, operating systems, cloud platforms, security tools,
frameworks, databases, artificial-intelligence technologies,
open-source software, and other products.
These products may be governed by separate licenses and terms.
ConnectGate does not necessarily own, control, or maintain
third-party products and does not guarantee their availability,
performance, licensing, or continued support.
20
External Links and Third-Party Services
The ConnectGate website may contain links to partner websites,
certification providers, vendors, payment processors, training
platforms, examination systems, or other external resources.
ConnectGate does not control all third-party websites and is not
responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices,
security, products, services, or transactions.

policy before using its services.
21

requirements and ConnectGate's privacy practices.
By registering for or using our services, customers may receive
necessary communications concerning registrations, payments,
training schedules, examination requirements, credentials,
security notifications, support, service administration, and
policy updates.
Customers are responsible for maintaining an accurate email
address and reviewing relevant service communications.
22

and services are provided on an “as available” basis.
ConnectGate does not guarantee that every service will always be
uninterrupted, secure, timely, complete, error-free, or suitable

opportunities, or any particular professional outcome.
23
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ConnectGate
Technology and its owners, officers, employees, instructors,
contractors, consultants, service providers, partners, vendors,
licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect,
incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive
damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.
This includes losses relating to business interruption, data,
profits, revenue, contracts, productivity, anticipated benefits,
or third-party services, except where such limitations are
prohibited by applicable law.
24
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, customers agree to defend and
hold harmless ConnectGate and applicable partners, personnel,
contractors, instructors, vendors, and service providers from
claims, damages, liabilities, costs, penalties, and reasonable
legal expenses arising from:

website, account, course, laboratory, digital product, examination
service, membership, scholarship, or other service where it
reasonably believes that:
- These Terms have been violated.
- Payment obligations remain overdue.
- Credentials have been shared.
- Intellectual property has been misused.
- Examination security has been compromised.
- Unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or unethical conduct has occurred.
- Continued access creates security or legal risks.
- A partner, vendor, regulator, or authority requires termination.
26
Export Controls and Restricted Use
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable export,
import, sanctions, restricted-party, and trade-control laws.
ConnectGate services, software, technical information, and
training materials must not be transferred or used where such
transfer or use is prohibited by applicable law.
27
Corporate Client Non-Solicitation
Where specifically included in a signed corporate agreement,
neither party may knowingly and directly solicit personnel of the
other party who were substantially involved in delivering the
applicable services during the agreed period.
This restriction does not apply where prohibited by applicable
law, to general recruitment advertising, unsolicited applications,
or individuals independently approaching an organization.
28
Notices and Changes to Services
ConnectGate may provide notices through email, customer accounts,
website announcements, learning platforms, examination platforms,
or other appropriate communication channels.
ConnectGate may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue parts
of a service when reasonably necessary.
These Terms may also be updated from time to time. The revised
version will be published on this page with an updated date.
Continued use of the services after the effective date of
revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms,
subject to applicable law.
29
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are subject to the laws applicable to ConnectGate
Technology and the jurisdiction in which the applicable service
agreement is governed, unless a separate written agreement
specifies otherwise.
Customers and ConnectGate should first attempt to resolve
disputes through good-faith communication before pursuing
formal legal remedies, except where immediate legal or
protective action is necessary.
30
Intellectual Property Complaints
Anyone who believes that material published through a ConnectGate
website infringes an intellectual-property right may submit a
written complaint identifying:
- The protected work or intellectual-property right.
- The location of the allegedly infringing material.
- The complainant's name and contact information.
- The basis of the complaint.
- A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized.
- Supporting ownership or authorization documentation.
31
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with applicable privacy policies, service
agreements, quotations, order documents, registration forms,
partner requirements, and signed agreements, constitute the
applicable agreement concerning the relevant service.
A separate written agreement may supersede these Terms only for
the specific subject addressed by that agreement.
32
Assignment
Customers may not transfer or assign accounts, licenses,
registrations, vouchers, certifications, partnership rights,
or contractual obligations without appropriate written
authorization where required.
ConnectGate may transfer its rights or obligations as part of
a restructuring, merger, acquisition, service arrangement, or
transfer of business assets, subject to applicable law.
33
Waiver and Severability
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute
a waiver of the right to enforce that provision later.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be
modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary, while the
remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent
permitted by law.
34
Survival
Provisions concerning payment obligations, confidentiality,
intellectual property, restrictions on use, indemnification,
liability limitations, dispute resolution, and other provisions
that by their nature should continue will survive termination
or expiration of a service relationship.
35
Cybersecurity Training Disclaimer
Cybersecurity education offered through ConnectGate or its
training partners is intended solely for lawful educational,
defensive, research, compliance, auditing, awareness, and
authorized security-testing purposes.
Participants are responsible for using cybersecurity knowledge,
tools, scripts, laboratories, and techniques only on systems they
own or on systems for which they have appropriate authorization.
Participation in cybersecurity training does not provide
authorization to access, test, scan, monitor, exploit, disrupt,
or modify any third-party system.
36
Individual Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
Cybersecurity training may demonstrate professional tools and
techniques that could be misused if applied unlawfully.
Participants acknowledge this risk and accept responsibility
for their own actions.
ConnectGate cannot monitor how a participant uses knowledge or
tools after training has concluded. Each participant is therefore
responsible for complying with applicable laws, regulations,
employer policies, contracts, licensing requirements, and
professional standards.
37
No Authorization for Unauthorized Security Testing
Nothing in any ConnectGate course, webinar, laboratory,
certification program, presentation, video, publication,
demonstration, or other educational material grants permission
to perform unauthorized security testing or other activities
against another person or organization.
Appropriate authorization from the lawful system owner is
required before conducting security testing.
38
Ethical Use and Prohibition of Illegal Activity
ConnectGate does not authorize or endorse hacking, cybercrime,
unauthorized access, ransomware, malware deployment, identity
theft, fraud, phishing, denial-of-service attacks, data theft,
extortion, unauthorized surveillance, or other unlawful activity.
Offensive-security concepts, where included in educational
programs, are presented for legitimate professional purposes
such as understanding, detecting, preventing, investigating,
and defending against security threats.
39
Right to Refuse or Terminate Access
ConnectGate reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate
participation where there is reasonable evidence of unlawful,
unethical, abusive, fraudulent, malicious, disruptive, or
unauthorized conduct.
Such action may also be taken where examination security,
intellectual property, customer safety, platform integrity, or
partner requirements are at risk.
